VERST Fire Services provides Building Maintenance and Fire Protection Solutions to various building owners across Victoria.

A great opportunity exists within our business to employ a motivated and enthusiastic Licenced Electrical Worker (A Grade Electrician). We are looking to fill this full-time position to join our friendly team at our Wantirna South office, which could lead to future development within this growing industry for the right person with the right skills and attitude. Industry experience is an advantage, however we are also prepared to train the right person to gain the required knowledge and skills within our industry.

To be accepted or considered for an interview, you MUST hold a current Victorian Drivers Licence and Victorian Electrical Licence (A Grade).

We are looking to fill several full-time positions to join our friendly team which could lead to future development within this growing industry for the right person with the right skills and attitude. Industry experience is an advantage, however we are also looking at employing a trainee.

The position for a trainee is a great opportunity for any motivated person that has a small amount of electronics knowledge that has a desire to work in the electronics industry to gain the experience and qualifications through our Trainee Program. As this work will be on ELV (extra low voltage) not LV, we are not offering an electrical apprenticeship. If you are looking for a change in career, we are offering full-time traineeships in the fire protection industry as Field Service Technicians and Administration Support.

VERST Fire Services is a family owned company providing quality fire protection servicing and construction work to building owners and managers across Victoria. We have been operating since 1999 and currently have exciting opportunities in Fire Equipment Maintenance Field Service Technician and Administration to join our friendly team at our Wantirna office.

We are looking to fill several full-time positions and seeking experienced or non-experienced people. traineeships available for the right person with the right basic skills and attitude.

Working hours are between 8:00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
38 hour week with 12 RDO’s per year.
Company vehicle and tools provided.

Your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Organise workload issued to you
Provide a reliable and relevant service to our customers
Carry out routine maintenance to Fire Extinguishers, Fire Blankets and Hose Reels
Participate in ongoing training and upskill
Liaise with other staff, contractors, customers and suppliers
Complete all relevant and required paperwork job sheets
Assist with customer reports and quotes
Maintain good customer relations
Comply with quality control measures and guidelines relevant to the position

What we are looking for:
Basic hand-tool skills
Solid App and Smartphone skills
Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality of their work
Accurate data entry skills
Exceptional time management skills organisational and coordinating ability
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work autonomously and with others
Proven ability to learn different industry related skills
Victorian driving licence a must.
