✏️✂️ Little Hands, Big Skills! ✂️✏️
Our Kindy friends have been busy practising some very important skills — holding our pencils, writing our names and using scissors! 🌟
We started by learning how to hold our pencils with the correct grip. Our little hands then got to work tracing over all sorts of tricky lines — some were wavy 🌊, some were zig-zags ⚡, and some definitely kept us on our toes! 😄
We also had a go at writing our very important names. There were lots of careful pencil movements, concentration and proud smiles as we showed off our writing. 🥰✏️
Then came the scissors! ✂️😮💨
Cutting along the lines was not as easy as it looked! We had to concentrate, open and close our scissors, turn the paper and try our best to stay on the line.
Some lines were straight… some were wiggly… and some definitely tested our patience! 😂
But did we give up? NO WAY! 💪
We kept practising, kept trying and, most importantly, WE DID IT! 🎉👏
These activities are helping our Kindy children develop their fine motor strength, hand-eye coordination, pencil control, concentration and confidence — all the little skills that help prepare those hands for future writing and classroom tasks.
