📸🎞️🎶Take a look at all the pictures from the 26th's The Fun Day at the pool! It was a pleasant day with lots of laughter, nice music, and good people. We would like to express our gratitude to Riley Parnaby, one of our wonderful staff members, for DJing!🎶🎞️📸

🧽 💦 The Wet Sponge Throwing Competition was the day's most popular event! 🥇🏆 Our little winner, Azahn Johnson, deserves special recognition. At just two years old, he earned first prise for striking Scott in the face with a wet sponge, we hope you enjoyed your Vegemite Azahn!🧽 💦

Seeing our small community come together and seeing the adults and children laughing and having a great time was wonderful!☺️

🍧 🍇🍌🍓 We would like to take this time to express our gratitude to REDI'I for the beautiful fruit tray that was distributed and to Bourke Shire for providing free slushes for our scorching day, it was wonderful. 🍧 🍇🍌🍓

Wow, we’ve received some really cool colouring ins for our competition
A big shout out to Keshia Tiffen from catholic care and the Bourke library for helping distribute the coloring ins!

Remember entries don’t close until this Sunday the competition will be judged by Melanie Milgate next
week!

The Bourke War Memorial Pool will host a Pool Fun Day on January the 26th where prizes will be up for grabs! Each person will receive one free slushy on the day!

Throughout the day, the kids can participate in a variety of competitions and activities, including stand-up paddle board races🏄🏻‍♀️, kickboard races🏊‍♂️, watermelon eating competitions🍉, colouring in competitions 🖍️, A Wet Sponge Throwing Competition💦, & a game of cricket! 🏏

If you would like to get your hands on our colouring in competition early, check into our Bourke Pool Canteen, our local Bourke Library, or Cooking with Keisha on Thursday!📚

But, I think everyone will have the most fun at our Wet Sponge Throwing Competition! (A jar of Australian VEGEMITE will be awarded to the first child to strike our very own pool manager, Scott, in the face with a wet sponge!
