Queens Beach State School At Queens Beach State School, we establish a safe, welcoming and positive learning environment for all.

We believe all students can succeed and become independent, resilient, empathetic and life-long learners. Queens Beach State School (prep to year six plus C&K Kindergarten) provides ‘large school’ opportunities with a ‘small school’ culture. We acknowledge the vital role of families as their child’s first teachers. We are very friendly and have a calm approach to working with your child. Our core

values include high student attendance rates, community involvement, positive behaviour, and multiple opportunities for students to reach their full potential. Staff members build positive relationships with parents and the wider community through effective communication. We host events such as the Annual Fete, Under 8’s Week, Book Fair and NAIDOC Week celebrations. Our 'School Wide Positive Behaviour Support' program provides instruction on appropriate social skills. Students are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of academic and sporting events both school and community-based. The school provides a high level of sporting instruction and is well known for sporting achievements at both district and state levels. Our curriculum priority is to immerse students in the Australian Curriculum (AC) through explicit instruction in all subject areas. We use the 'Curriculum Into the Classroom' Units (C2C Units) to deliver the AC. The school’s curriculum co-ordinator/ master teacher works closely with classroom teachers to implement whole school programs and monitor student learning goals and targets. Queens Beach State School is equipped with learning support and special education teachers who work closely with classroom teachers and differentiate the curriculum.

😋 Our Prep students have been learning about healthy eating by sorting food pictures into two categories: everyday foods and sometimes foods.

Through this fun and engaging activity, students explored the foods that help keep our bodies healthy and strong, while also learning that some treats are best enjoyed only occasionally.

​Dust off your house colors and lace up your running shoes, Queens Beach families! Week 10 is officially Athletics Carnival Week. Here is your schedule for an action-packed three days of competition and house spirit:

​🏅 Field Events — Monday 22nd June (High Jump, Long Jump & Shot put)
​👶 Mini Olympics — Wednesday 24th June (Junior fun and novelty races)
​⚡ Track Events — Thursday 25th June (Sprints, long distance & house relays)

​Wear your house colors proud and loud!
​Bring a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, and a large water bottle.
