ASDESI is a support program providing services to families with children with disabilities.

Initiated by the Kollege of Knowledge Kommittee for Kids (KKKK), ASDESI is an Interchange Australia program providing services to families with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The ASDESI program provides a range of services for families caring for a young person (up to the age of 18 years of age) with ASD. Services are tailored to the individual needs of each family an include:

nt and Carer Information and Education

Parents and carers meet with our trained educators, either individually or in a group setting. The aim is to support parents and carers to gain information, to develop strategies and to develop support networks. Social Support Groups

Developing social skills is often challenging for young people on the spectrum. Our individualised social groups aim to support the development and practice of appropriate and relevant social skills. Case Management

ASDESI recognises the highly individual nature of the ASD’s. Case Management allows family strengths, challenges and circumstances to be identified so services can be effectively and individually planned. Educational Courses

Young people with an ASD may need particular types of training to help them learn how to manage day-to-day life. The ASDESI skills-based courses are designed to give young people skills they can practice at home and at school, making everyday life more manageable and understandable. AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS

Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD’s) make up a group of developmental disorders which are characterised by varying degrees of impairment in:
◾Social Interaction;
◾Communication;
◾Restrictive and repetitive behaviour patterns. Thinking and learning ability varies from gifted to severely disabled. Early intervention, parental education and social skills training have been demonstrated to be of value to help children maximise their potential.

What is Code Club?
Code Club is a free, fun, and friendly place where kids aged 8 and up can learn how to code at their own pace. Whether you’re brand new or already love computers, Code Club lets you learn in a way that works for you!

How does it work?
You’ll come along to Code Club sessions and learn coding by creating awesome, hands-on projects. Think games, animations, and cool digital creations!

We start with easy, colourful coding programs like Scratch, then level up to real coding languages like Python and JavaScript when you’re ready!

📣Code Club – Expressions of Interest Now Open! 📣

What is Code Club?
Code Club is a free, fun and supportive program where young people aged 8 and over can learn coding at their own pace in a way that works for them.

Did you know we offer Before & After School Care for children with disabilities in Goulburn??

We have vacancies in Goulburn 5 days a week, 7am - 9am & 3pm - 6pm.

The ASDESI program is a Vacation Care and Before and After School Care program designed for children of all abilities aged between 5 and 17. The program aims at providing a care environment that is supportive, fun, safe and engaging where children can share experiences, learn new skills and make friends. The ASDESI before & after school program is offered 5 days per week throughout the school term (excluding public holidays). Transport is also available by arrangement.
