🌿🌊 In Week 7, our Stage 4 Support Unit students enjoyed an exciting excursion to Killalea Regional Park, where they explored the beautiful natural environment and developed their hands-on geography skills. πŸ—ΊοΈβ˜€οΈ

As part of their Water in the World studies, students investigated local waterways and coastal environments with the support and guidance of the wonderful team from the Illawarra Environmental Education Centre. πŸŒπŸ’§

It was a fantastic day of learning, discovery and connecting with the natural world! πŸŒΏπŸ‘πŸ˜Š

🎢🌟 Some of our talented choir members recently had the incredible opportunity to perform at the Arts Unit In Concert Secondary Choral Festival at the iconic Sydney Opera House! 🎀✨

Over the past several months, students worked hard to learn and refine a challenging repertoire, culminating in a fantastic performance alongside talented singers from across NSW. πŸŽΌπŸ‘

A special highlight was a guest performance by Lucy Durack, whose talent and stage presence inspired students throughout the event. 🌟🎭

A big Thankyou to Mrs Karakasch-Hawker for providing this incredible opportunity for our students. 🎼

Congratulations to all of our choir members on their dedication, enthusiasm and outstanding performance. We are incredibly proud of the way they represented Bowral High School at this prestigious public schools event! πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸŽΆπŸ‘

The Wingecarribee Shire Council chambers were full of the sound of debate on Saturday, not from councillors, but rather from local Southern Highlands high school students debating topics as part of the Southern Highlands Model United Nations Assembly (SH MUNA).

Congratulations to our 24 talented Year 9 and 10 students who proudly represented Bowral High School at the National Science and Engineering Challenge! πŸ”¬βš™οΈπŸš€

Throughout the day, our students put their teamwork, problem-solving, creativity and scientific thinking skills to the test as they competed against schools from across the region in a series of exciting STEM-based challenges.

The event provided a fantastic opportunity for students to apply their knowledge in real-world situations, collaborate with others, and showcase the innovation, resilience and determination that make Bowral High School such a great learning community.

We are incredibly proud of the way our students represented the school and look forward to hearing more about their experiences and achievements. Well done, team! πŸ‘πŸ§ͺπŸ’‘

Thank you to Mr Cox for accompanying our students and supporting them throughout the day πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

πŸŒπŸ›οΈ Last weekend, Bowral High School students Chloe, Josh, Michael, Bella, Sam, and Callum did a fantastic job representing Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ and Brazil πŸ‡§πŸ‡· at the Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) event held at the Wingecarribee Shire Council Chambers.

πŸ“š Students prepared extensive research and used their knowledge to debate a range of real-world issues from the perspective of their assigned countries.

πŸ‘ Both of our teams performed exceptionally well, proposing amendments, collaborating with peers from across the community during bloc meetings 🀝, and confidently presenting arguments to the assembly 🎀.

⭐ We are also proud to recognise our own Year 7 student, Sally, who served as the sole diplomatic courier for the event βœ‰οΈ. Her invaluable contribution enabled teams to communicate effectively throughout the debates. On behalf of all participants, thank you, Sally! πŸ™Œ

πŸŽ‰ Congratulations to all of our students for their outstanding efforts, teamwork, and professionalism. You represented Bowral High School with pride! πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸŒŸ

πŸ‰ Sydney South West Regional Oztag Carnival πŸ‰

Bowral High School proudly competed in the Years 7/8 Sydney South West Regional Oztag Carnival today, with all students displaying great sportsmanship, determination and school pride. 🌟

πŸ‘ The girls team had an outstanding day, recording two wins and a draw, narrowly missing the finals. A fantastic effort from a team made up almost entirely of Year 7 students! πŸ’ͺ

πŸ”₯ The boys team showed resilience and commitment throughout the day, competing strongly in every match.

⭐ A special mention to Boston for his outstanding leadership, encouragement and positive attitude on and off the field.

πŸŽ‰ Congratulations to all students for representing Bowral High School so proudly! πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ†

πŸ’ͺ🧠 Bowral High School is taking on The Push-Up Challenge 2026! 🧠πŸ’ͺ

From 3–26 June, our students and staff will be working together to complete a minimum of 3,307 push-ups in 24 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia. πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ’™

We are proud to be part of this important initiative, helping to start conversations about mental health while supporting vital services and programs across the country. 🌟

Today students completed a total of 578 pushups combined, our target was only 100!

All funds raised will go directly to the Push for Better Foundation, supporting much-needed mental health services and initiatives. πŸ€πŸ’š

You can show your support by making a tax-deductible donation to our page. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference and helps create better mental health outcomes for Australians. πŸ™Œ
