We who stay on The Plateau at Brandy Creek, Queensland, Australia, choose a quiet and peaceful life, free from all drugs (including to***co) and alcohol. We grow most of our own food and enjoy sustainable power, water and sanitation "off the grid". We practise techniques to purify the mind for example vipassana (www.dhamma.org.au) and eat a simple mostly vegetarian diet of home made food. We exper

iment with, research, design and use appropriate technology solutions to provide for our needs if possible and try to source all materials either from the local area or by reusing prefabricated materials. We have space for residents who wish to invest in a healthy lifestyle.
