Calling all readers, book lovers. writers, and would-be-writers.... here is your free event, with workshops throughout the day to suit all tastes. There is a pop-up book shop too, and a book lovers raffle. There are local authors Steve Heron Author Author Sarah Evans, Wendy Palmer and special guest YA author Bianca Breen. Bridgetown Historical Society are presenting on genealogy searching, and there is an Open Mic session. Email [email protected] for info or to secure a spot. Venue: Bridgetown Pottery-Restaurant. Tea, coffee, scones and soup on offer. Date: Saturday 29th August 11am - 6pm.

Tonight is the night!! Dance (or not), dress up (or not)... but come along for the good vibes and winter shake off!! $10 entry. Cash or EFT at the door (but booking online helps the queue at the door). Bridgetown Basketball Association are running the bar. Bring your own snacks. We will provide free popcorn. Doors open 6.30pm, movie at 7pm. Intermission about an hour in. Bridgetown Town Hall. See you there 👠🎉🥳
