Our Years 5 & 6 students and RDSS Running Team had a fantastic time at the Darling Point Fun Run, walking, running and wheeling their way around the course alongside friends and family. It was wonderful to see so many students giving their best, encouraging one another and enjoying being part of the day.

A big thank you to the parents and carers who volunteered their time to support the event. We really appreciate your help and enthusiasm.

Congratulations to all students who participated, and a special acknowledgement to our Junior Boys (Brandon Long, 1st; Archer Kleindienst, 2nd; Kingston Tuapou, 3rd), Junior Girls (Magen Warren, 1st), and Senior Boys (Isaiah Swanson, 2nd) for their outstanding placings in the run. 🐯☕ LOOK WHO CAME TO TEA! ☕🐯

Our Early Years students have been bringing stories to life as part of our English Unit: In the Jungle! 🌿🦁🐒

After reading The Tiger Who Came to Tea, students enjoyed their very own tea party, complete with cookies, fairy bread and chips - all chosen by the students themselves! 🍪🍞✨

But then… A TIGER ARRIVED! 🐯😲

There was plenty of excitement and laughter as students connected the story to a real-life experience through play. Such a fun and meaningful way to build engagement, communication and understanding while exploring stories about jungle animals! 💬📚💛

🎣 Fathers Day Stall 2026 🎣
The Father’s Day stall will be held tomorrow - Thursday 3rd September! Students will have the chance to come up and choose an item during class time. All gifts are still only $10 and are purchased via Qkr! like uniforms. (There may be the chance to pay cash on the day if there are gifts available)
✍️ Volunteers are required to help make this all possible. If you can spare a little time, either wrapping on 28/8 or stall day 3/9 please visit the link below and enter your availability.

Over the last 2 days, 25 of our incredible athletes have competed at the Regional (MetEast) Athletics Championships. The students all put in 100% to achieve some incredible results and we are so proud of them all. Many of them have now been invited to QLD State Athletics which is very exciting.
