We are thrilled to be working on an FRDC-supported project to encourage recreational fisher to record their catch data. This data can help inform fisheries management decisions, to ensure we can keep enjoying fishing for generations to come.

The project is made even better by out project partners: Evidn, Social Marketing at Griffith, SCF Australia, Fisheries Queensland (Department of Primary Industries) and Ball State University.

And yesterday, we got to meet many of our project partners in person.

We discussed the results from the behavioural systems analysis and program co-design, and set some exciting directions for our pilot.

It's a great foundation to launch into the next phase of our project. Watch this space!

*survey closing soon!

Brisbane residents and businesses, your voice is needed!

We're partnering with Brisbane City Council to help our city achieve its waste reduction goals.

Brisbane City residents and businesses have access to four resource recovery centres (RRCs) across Brisbane, where they can access recycling services and dispose of general and green waste. The centres were previously known as transfer stations or tips. Planning is underway to help transform these into circular economy hubs, and we want your input on the future of recycling in Brisbane city.

Complete the survey at the link below to tell us about your experiences and what do you want to see at Brisbane's recycling facilities in the future?

These upgrades will impact residents and businesses visiting the centre for many decades to come, so we want to know your ideas, even if you haven't visited one of the centres before.

Last week we joined members of the Bundaberg community to launch the 'Do Your Thing' initiative.

'Do Your Thing' recognises the complexities of health and understand that everyone's journey is different. The initiative works with organisations throughout the Bundaberg region to empower community members to 'do their thing' and make healthy changes in their lives that matter and work for them.

A highlight of the day was signing the local leadership group's foundational charter, which recognises their commitment to developing a collaborative approach towards improving health and wellbeing throughout their region.

We'd like to thank the Building a Healthy Bundaberg Alliance, Health and Wellbeing Queensland, Department of Tourism, Innovation and Sport (Queensland Government), and Bundaberg Regional Council for their support to date. Most importantly, we'd like to thank the local leaders for their commitment to a healthy community which drives this initiative

An innovative health and wellbeing project will encourage local residents to ‘Do Your Thing’ and make lifestyle choices that work for them.
