Your brain is always listening, so even "joking" put-downs can sink in and start to feel true. Talk to yourself the way you'd talk to your best friend, because you deserve that kindness too.

CONGRATULATIONS, 7E! 🎉 >> A big shout-out to 7E – our Top Learner Agency Class for Best Attendance!

Consistently showing up to school is an important step towards success. Every day in the classroom is an opportunity to learn something new, build friendships, develop skills and take another step towards achieving your goals.

At Yeronga State High School, we celebrate the importance of attendance because every day counts, every lesson matters, and every student deserves the opportunity to thrive!

To celebrate their fantastic achievement, the whole of 7E enjoyed a well deserved treat of Zooper Doopers!

Well done, 7E! Keep up the amazing effort, keep showing up for yourselves and each other, and continue setting the standard for Learner Agency. We are so proud of you! 🙌

Remember: Be present. Be engaged. Be your best! 😊💚💛

FAB FRIDAY: BANDANNA DAY! 💚💛

Happy Friday, Yeronga!

For Week 3 of FAB Fridays, we’re recognising Bandanna Day, with some of our fabulous staff showing their support by wearing colourful bandannas around their heads, necks and wrists!

Bandanna Day is Canteen Australia’s annual awareness and fundraising campaign supporting young people aged 12–25 who are impacted by cancer.

A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped raise awareness for this important cause. Every little action helps show young people affected by cancer that they’re not alone. 💛💚😊
