Community Connections 🌎
Behind every successful school camp is a team of staff who know their students, look out for one another and bring a great sense of fun to everything they do.
It's the conversations, the encouragement, the shared laughter and the little moments that make camp so memorable.
Some lovely photos of the people who worked day and night behind the scenes to make our Year 6 camp what it was. Thank you 💕

Community Connections 🌎

The last day of camp, but the friendships, stories and shared experiences will last well beyond Tallebudgera. A fitting way for our Year 6 students to celebrate the years they’ve spent growing and learning together, before their next chapter begins.

Excellence in Learning:

Our LEGO League students have been putting their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test through BioGlow! This exciting challenge encourages students to explore science, technology and innovation by investigating ideas inspired by the natural world and bringing them to life through LEGO. We’re proud to see our students collaborating, thinking creatively and embracing the challenge!

Year 6 Camp Day 2!
Another big day at Tallebudgera, filled with adventure, laughter and plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves!
It’s been wonderful to see our Year 6 students encouraging one another, stepping outside their comfort zones and making the most of their time together.
As their primary school years draw to a close, these shared experiences and memories are something special. A few more moments to add to their Kenmore story!

Excellence in Creativity:

There’s a little extra colour and creativity popping up around Kenmore! We love seeing our students’ artwork displayed throughout the school, showcasing their wonderful ideas, imagination and individuality. These displays bring our spaces to life and give our young artists a chance to share their creativity with the whole school community.

Teaching & learning excellence
Our Year 3 students have caught the attention of some very special readers at Australia Zoo!
Last term, our Year 3 students put their knowledge of Australian animals and their persuasive writing skills to work, making a case for a new animal exhibit at Australia Zoo. They also designed habitats, carefully considering each animal’s environmental needs.
And Australia Zoo responded! Their Education Team shared the students’ writing and diagrams with some very special residents, including lizards, a coastal taipan, a tortoise, kangaroos and koalas!
What a wonderful example of students using their growing knowledge of language to inform, persuade and communicate with a real audience.
Authentic purpose, meaningful learning and some very proud Year 3 students!

Environmental Stars!

In recognition of National Arbor Day, 6B and 1C generously donated their time and gardening skills, to plant a variety of saplings around the school. It’s always a pleasure to see our students giving back to the environment, with the added bonus of helping keep our school grounds looking their best.

Thanks, 6B and 1C!
