Hello Friends ,
Reunion this year has not been cancelled however there is no formal arrangement . Usual day is the 2nd Saturday in March which is the 14th , upstairs at Geebung RSL opposite the rail stn.
Please if you are thinking of attending or definitely not add your name to this post so everyone can see if there are enough interested to make the journey. It doesn’t make it definite but the more who post will encourage others .. would hate it to be a non event !
We were going to change the event to somewhere more central so that will happen next year. Looking for a venue near transport.

Keep a look out this year we will be having an informal open air byo picnic style get together September/ October whenever the weather decides to warm up. Most likely Roma St parklands !

I have been advised that Nola is going to be in WA ,
I am expecting to be out of circulation due having dental surgery the day before. Will advise if that changes!

Annual Reunion Confusion
Firstly, apologies for the confusion over the date of our reunion this year.
Normally it’s set for the 2nd Saturday of the March, ( the 9th this year) .However with the first Saturday falling on the 2nd day of March ,unfortunately the dates got confused.
Please let us know , just for this year , Do you prefer the 2nd or the 9th of March ? Please choose a date and post in comments !
( This will not occur again till 2030 thankfully 😆)
There is another option to consider, if we have no majority, we can have a double header reunion, one on the 2nd and one on the 9th of March for this year ONLY. You can go to either one or both.
Please First choose a preferred date This is a must !
Then
Only if you wish to come on both days ( “should this happen“ ) then please add that to your comment last .
We will make a definitive answer by Monday 5 February .
Please talk to friends so everyone is on the same page!

After much consideration we have decided that with the Queensland government regulation on masks and social distancing, we are far better off deferring the reunion until things have settled down. Please pass the word around was many people as you can.
