A great week at the Australian Open Water Flippers Camp with SPW swimmers Macy, Lachlan, Riley and Will

A fantastic opportunity to train alongside the best open water swimmers from across the country as they prepare for international competition later this year.

Next Stops:
* Macy - World Cup (Spain & Italy)
* Lachlan - Oceania Championships (Fiji) & Junior Worlds (Argentina)
* Riley & Will - Junior Worlds (Argentina)

SPW coach Cameron Gledhill was also on deck as part of the national coaching staff and will join the team again at World Cup and Junior Worlds in Argentina later this year! 🇦🇺🌊

That’s a wrap on Open Water Nationals!
Our crew showed exactly what consistent hard work at training looks like come race day.

🥈 10km – Macy Beuzeville
🥇 7.5km – Riley Meares
🥇 7.5km – Will Thorpe
🥇 5km – Riley Meares
🥇 5km – Will Thorpe
🥈 5km – Macy Beuzeville
🥉 Open Relay – A Team

Along with a number of top 10 finishes across every distance, athletes backing up race after race, and a group that supported each other all week.

SPW finished 3rd overall on the point score, an incredible achievement that will continue to motivate us throughout the rest of 2026
