**Prime Minister's Spelling Bee State Finals**
A huge congratulations to the 40 students from Years 3 - 6 who have qualified for the State Finals of the Prime Minister's Spelling Bee. What a fabulous achievement!!

🌼 Self-Care September 🌼

September has arrived, and with it comes an important reminder: looking after ourselves helps us be our best for others too.

This month, we're encouraging our students, families, and staff to take part in Self-Care September, a calendar filled with simple daily actions that promote wellbeing, gratitude, resilience, and kindness.

In the busyness of school, work, and family life, it can be easy to forget to pause and care for ourselves. Small actions each day can make a big difference to our happiness, mental health, and sense of connection.

We invite our whole school community to join us throughout September by trying some of the daily activities and sharing these positive habits with those around you.

💛 Take a moment. 💛 Be kind to yourself. 💛 Look after your wellbeing. 💛 Encourage others to do the same.

Together, let's make September a month of self-care, kindness, and wellbeing for everyone.

ORDER UP! Our ever-popular BBQ sausage sizzle and bake sale is returning for the Warrigal Road State School Term 3 sports days! 😋

If you have a child in Prep to Year 3, log into Flexischools to place your order by 11 September.

All students, including older grades, will be able to purchase from the bake sale with cash. PLUS we have our friends from BSAR unique coffee serving delicious coffees for the parents. ☕

So, if you’re a baker we’d love you to make some tasty treats e.g. cupcakes or slices, for our fundraising stall. Please deliver individually wrapped, labelled goodies to the school oval on the day of the event. Thank you!🧁
