If you are a victim who has had an experience with the criminal justice system that you'd like to share, but you don't want to make a formal complaint, we’d still like to hear from you.

Feedback helps us to build a better understanding of the challenges victims face and to highlight areas where support and services could be improved. The Victims’ Commissioner uses this information to identify common issues and provide advice to government about improving victims' experiences.

The easiest way to give feedback is to fill in our online form on our website or email us. You can give feedback on someone’s behalf as well.

Feedback can be anonymous, and we handle all information with care and respect. We protect your privacy and never include identifying details without permission in any feedback we share with government.

We welcome a new recommendation from the Child Safety Commission of Inquiry to better protect girls in out-of-home care from sexual exploitation.

Girls in residential care can face higher risks, and it’s important the system responds in ways that meet their needs and keep them safe.

We raised these concerns in our submission to the Inquiry. While policies are in place, more work is needed to make sure they are working.

A new strategy and stronger coordination across agencies are important steps forward. We support this being acted on as a priority.
