What an incredible night at 🇮🇹✨

This evening our club transformed into Italy as we explored the different regions, stories, culture and flavours of Italy.

We also celebrated something really special together:
🏆 Achieving Distinguished Club Status 💪
📈 66% new member growth this financial year

What makes our club so special though isn’t just the growth — it’s the people.

Bulimba Riverside Toastmasters has become such a warm, welcoming and supportive community of people who genuinely want to help each other learn, grow and succeed. Whether someone is giving their very first speech or developing leadership and communication skills for their career, everyone is encouraged and supported along the journey.

🎤✨ Debate Night Victory! ✨🎤

Bulimba Riverside Toastmasters went head-to-head with Waterloo Bay Toastmasters Club, Wynnum, Brisbane, Qld in an inter-club debate on the big question: “Is Brisbane’s growth a good or a bad thing?”

We took the Negative side (that growth is a good thing!) with Maja, Pete, and Scott putting their persuasive powers to work. Waterloo Bay brought the fire with Vinh, Glenda, and Matt arguing the Affirmative.

After a lively exchange of wit, facts, and the occasional cheeky comeback… 🏆 Bulimba Riverside came out on top!

A huge thank you to Waterloo Bay for hosting such a fun and thought-provoking evening. Nights like these remind us why we love Toastmasters – great people, big ideas, and plenty of laughs.
