🚨Heavy Traffic. 80 Zone. 126km/h. No Excuse.🚨

At 1:45pm on Saturday 23 May, Fawkner Highway Patrol were conducting speed enforcement on the Tullamarine Freeway.

Police detected a silver Toyota sedan travelling city-bound at 126km/h in an 80km/h zone ⚠️ — in heavy traffic conditions.

The driver was issued an infringement notice of $865 and their licence will be suspended for 6 months.

🚫 Speeding in busy traffic dramatically increases the risk of serious crashes.
Every km/h over the limit reduces your ability to react and avoid danger.

✅ We all have a role to play in reducing road trauma — slow down, make safe choices, and help ensure everyone gets home safely.
