Heads up Cardwell and Hinchinbrook Island!
Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) will conduct a planned burn at Goold Island National Park on Wednesday (16/10). Smoke may affect surrounding areas. Residents should close windows and doors and keep their respiratory medications close. Smoke may decrease visibility on the road so motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
