My name is Ebin Franklin Gomez, Team Leader at The Break, and I am a social worker student doing placement at this mental health organization, The Break.INC. One of my team member recently contacted the council to discuss the Free Kayaking program that we launched, which is for the wellbeing of the young people in the community, which is based in Melbourne. We are currently offering a Free Youth Kayaking Wellbeing Program designed to support students’ mental health, confidence, and social connection through safe and engaging outdoor activities.
We are providing this opportunities for every students in the secondary schools, colleges, and campus, and other organisation, we would love to invite your students (aged 12–25) to participate in this unique opportunity.
Program Details:
- 📍 Location: St Kilda Pier
- 🗓 Schedule: Every Saturday until 28th May
- 🎯 Age Group: 12–25 years (FREE)
- ⏱ Duration: Approx. 45 min per session, and per day we do 5 to 6 sessions
- 🛟 Fully supervised by experienced kayak guides (WWCC & Police Checked)
- the Grant will end at 28th of may
Requirements are:
- Students must be 12-25 years of age
- Emergency contact must be provided
- Must fill a google forms
