Buderim Library Association Inc Volunteer operated Community Library on Buderim Mountain We have an excellent range of books, with new releases purchased weekly.

The Buderim Library, on the corner of Main Street and Gloucester Road in Buderim, has been in existence since 1887 and is a community organization run solely by volunteers. These include all your favourite genres – Crime, Thrillers, Mystery, Romance, Chick Lit, Contemporary, Classic, Biography, History, Fiction, Non-Fiction and a selection of Westerns. We also have a significant selection of LARGE

PRINT BOOKS in all genres including non-fiction. We also have Audio Books - great for travelling but more importantly, an excellent way for the sight-impaired to continue their love of reading.

I attended another moving Anzac Day Service at Buderim Mountain State School Pine Forest this morning. Our 2026 Memorial Book was placed with the other wreaths during the service and will be added to our Anzac collection next week.

As we start the New Year, our volunteers are really enjoying using our 2 new computers and new laser printer.
A Grant of $3,000 from Sunshine Coast Council Community Grants Programme has enabled us to purchase this new office equipment.
Our very sincere thanks and appreciation from all of our happy volunteers goes out to our Council for their contribution towards making this happen. 🙏🙏

We hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and is now looking forward to a Happy New Year.
Our volunteers will be back in the library tomorrow morning ready for you to swap your Christmas books for New Year ones.
Just a reminder that the library will be closed on Thursday for New Year’s Day and we will return to normal opening hours as from Friday morning.
