Bulla Hill Railway Welcome to where miniature trains create big smiles! Run by the dedicated volunteers of the Tullamarine Live Steam Society.

Nestled in beautiful parklands, we offer scenic miniature train rides that delight kids, families and train lovers of all ages. Bulla Hill Railway - The Dinosaur Line is a 3.5", 5" and 7.25" miniature railway, located in Green St, Bulla, Victoria. We are approximately 10 minutes from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport and around 30 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. With lovely views of Mt Macedon there i

s plenty to see and do at the railway, a playground for the kids, coin operated BBQs, undercover picnic area, Kiosk, aircraft in the distance, dinosaurs and of course, the trains! Public run days are on the 3rd Sunday of each month, from 11am until 4pm. The last train leaves the station at approximately 3:45pm. We run Steam, Petrol and Diesel locos and the ride around our larger track lasts around 15 minutes, the smaller track is usually only operated on by members. Soak up the picturesque views of Mt Macedon and enjoy a leisurely ride around our railway while you get the kids to count the dinosaurs, how many can you see? Rides are $5 per person, and enclosed footwear must be worn. Steam operation is subject to any fire and staffing restrictions that we may have on the day, however we try to operate at least one diesel/petrol and at least one steam engine on each run day. The Bohemian Bulla Market and Bulla Hill Miniature Railway run every third Sunday of the month, with the market taking a seasonal break in June, July, August, and January.
