Ok, I never EVER thought I'd be posting about this, but here we are...
This didn't come from a donation to the library thankfully. I always check books when I get them though. Mostly to make sure the people who donated them haven't left anything personal in them, but the pictures below, well, if anyone found that in a book from my library, I'd be absolutely mortified.
I'm pretty speechless really about the whole thing (doesn't happen often lol!) But what I will say is Leah' Little Library is for EVERYONE I don't care if you're black or white, I don't care where you come from. The only people that aren't welcome at the library are narrow minded people who spread this kind of misinformation & fear.
Leah's Little Library is & always will be an inclusive space for readers. Hope to see you soon 😊

Exciting new everyone! For a couple of years now people have been asking if I take puzzles & I've finally given in! The bottom shelf in the big library is now the new home for puzzles & boardgames for you to swap & have some fun with 😊

Good news people!! The library has just had a pretty nice donation of First Nations childrens books which will be put into the library in the coming weeks! 😊
