Many of you may have seen my request for support to help this plea. Many of you have been generous and done that. For those of you who have not, my story is that
My sister has Motor Neurone Disease. It’s a b4stard of a disease that eventually robs a person of their life, but not before their nerves die and can no longer connect with the brain. So they lose abilities we take for granted - to move, to eat, to breathe.
The MND community is asking the government to classify MND as a notifiable disease which will enable the collection of data to assist much needed research. There is no cure, no treatment. You may have heard about Woz (who has MND) riding his lawn mower 800 kms to Parliament House in Canberra to present the request to the Prime Minister.
Please would you sign the attached e petition? It is easy. It’s quick. And would you mind posting this request on your own community pages? We are desperate for our loved ones. Your support would be so appreciated. This is a simple request for Australia to upgrade the classification for this disease. Thank you for listening.

Latest COVID update for weddings in Queensland from Queensland Health.

Please remember, inside the restricted regions, you are limited to only 10 ppl at OUTDOOR ceremonies and this includes the couple, celebrant and photographer meaning only 6 other guests can attend.
If outside the restricted regions (the rest of Queensland), you are limited to 30 ppl at OUTDOOR ceremonies and this includes the couple, celebrant and photographer meaning only 26 other guests can attend.

As has been the case until now, we can only approach this day by day. We don't know if changes will occur again, so it's best to keep up to date with information from Queensland Health. It's a topsy turvy time, and can be extremely frustrating for those of you planning your special day.

When Kristin and Cristian from Germany to , it poured rain on their wedding day! With not too many locations by the beach that provide enough shelter in a rain storm, I asked my very generous beautiful friend Kathy if she would be happy to host the ceremony in her gorgeous apartment overlooking the beach at Bargara! A beautiful ceremony followed by some sparkling wine, a cheese platter and live music for a first dance provided by John, turned this potential disaster into an incredible day, where we formed friendships for life! Lee-Ann Wilson Photography took some gorgeous photos of the day.....
