Our crews have been hard at work on the ground at Doughboy, assisting with the recent bushfire. A massive thank you to our dedicated members who are out there managing the fireline and working to keep the area safe.
​With active fires in the region, it is crucial for everyone to stay vigilant. Please keep these safety tips in mind:
​Stay Informed: Regularly check local fire warnings, emergency service updates, and weather conditions.
​Prepare Your Property: Clear dry leaves and debris from your gutters, and keep grass cut low around your home to reduce fuel loads.
​Have a Plan: Ensure your household has a clear Bushfire Survival Plan. Decide early whether you will leave or stay and defend.
​Keep Access Clear: Make sure emergency vehicles can easily access your property if needed.
​Report Immediately: If you spot an unattended fire or suspicious smoke, call Triple Zero (000) straight away.
​Stay safe, look out for your neighbours, and thank you for supporting our crews! 🚒🔥

​👏 To our dedicated volunteers: From sharing life-saving bushfire safety advice and greeting guests at the gates to cooking up a storm on the BBQ, your hard work made today special. We appreciate everything you do for our brigade and community!

🔥 Hazard Reduction Burn Complete! 🔥
​Yesterday, Saturday 25th July, the Branyan Rural Fire Brigade successfully completed a planned hazard reduction burn to help protect our local community and reduce fuel loads.
​These operations play a vital role in community safety, and they wouldn't be possible without strong inter-brigade cooperation.
​A massive thank you to our incredible colleagues at the Burnett Heads Rural Fire Brigade for lending your support, expertise, and teamwork on the ground. Working together ensures we keep our region safe and prepared! 🚒🤝
