The emotional demands of supporting a loved one living with disability can build quietly over time.
If you’re a parent, partner, family member, or informal carer, it can be hard to find space for your own wellbeing.
Peach Mental Health provides face-to-face mental health support in Bundaberg for carers and family members, with a particular interest in neurodivergence and in supporting those caring for neurodivergent loved ones.
Sessions can help you reflect on the impact of your support role, recognise stress and burnout more clearly, and find more sustainable ways to support yourself and those you care about.
With a Mental Health Treatment Plan, Medicare rebates are available to help make support more affordable.
A small number of face-to-face appointments are currently available, with telehealth also offered when needed.
If this feels relevant for you or someone you know, you’re welcome to enquire via the contact form on my website or pass this on to someone who may benefit.
