Hi Bundeena!
This Sunday morning, 19th October, from around 9 to 11am, we are carrying out Joint Training excercises with our amazing local CFU and RFS crews from Bundeena and Maianbar.
We will be in two locations; around the Bowlo and at the end of Bournemouth Street.
So, please do not be concerned if you see a whole bunch of fire trucks driving about, it's just a drill and everyone is OK.
If you'd like to be involved in things like this, why not consider signing up with us, or with the RFS or a with Community Fire Unit.
Lastly, you see we are getting ready for the summer ahead. Are you?

Snakes are about! Call 000 - Ask for Fire and Rescue.
The warmer weather has started to bring snakes out of hybernation and they are on the move, looking for a meal and doing all those things snake do - one being surprising people!
If it is in your garden, please leave it alone - it will likely move on.
If you need one removed from your house, please call 000 and ask for Fire and Rescue. DO NOT call the station. Our station is not attended 24/7 and the message you leave will not be seen immediately.
Even if we are there, we must call 000 before we can turn out to you, so please save time and call 000 directly.
The snake MUST be in the house/garage. You may need to be insistant with the operator, as some wrongly think we no longer respond to snakes. This is an issue we are working to resolve. Please message us if this happens to you.
Keep an eye on the snake until we arrive, and please do not try to make contact with it.

FRNSW Station 080 Bundeena are recruiting On-Call Firefighters. We are looking for energetic and healthy people with a "can do" attitude, who are able to work in a team environment.

You'll be working with other professional firefighters while expanding your skill-set to not only better yourself, but also to benefit the community you live in.
