Tuesday morning 08/06/2021 at 00:11 the crew of FRNSW Station 080 Bundeena were called to a single car crash with two occupants still inside on a section of Bundeena Drv known as โ€œtall timberโ€™sโ€ the vehicle speared into the bush for approximately 70 metres parallel to the road.

Last night most of the crew of FRNSW Station 080 Bundeena were called to the Bundeena Community & Services Club at 17:00 hrs, not for a call out but to farewell Capt Ron Hozack who is retiring after 25 years of service and also moving to the Southern Highlands, crew members from the past and present were joined by members of 090 Menai and 048 Mortdale as well as the Area Commamder, Inspectors and Zone admin team and past Zone Commamder to farewell Capt Ron and thank his wife Kath for letting him out to play for the last 25 years.
