We want to say a massive thank you to Vitoria, our club founder, for the incredible work they have done since establishing our club in 2024.

Over the past few years, they have been a steadfast advocate for Labor values, fighting against discrimination across Victorian universities and pushing for to be a safe and welcoming space for every student.

We wish them all the best in their studies at Swinburne University and in establishing the branch, as well as in their continued involvement in the Party.

Today our caucus members attended the One Year Out Rally, standing shoulder to shoulder with Labor communities from across the state.

We are ready to fight for another progressive and pragmatic Labor government. Ready to protect workers’ rights. Ready to stand with all Victorians, no matter where they come from or who they are.

Equal pay for equal work is basic fairness, but right now under 21s are still paid less than their adult co-workers for the exact same roles.

This campaign highlights how junior wages push young people into financial pressure while they perform essential, adult responsibilities. The system needs to be fixed.

We are backing Adult Age = Adult Wage because no adult should be discounted.

After an amazing week celebrating Transgender Week of Visibility, today we come together for Transgender Day of Remembrance.

We honour and remember every life lost to anti-trans violence, and stand with our trans community today and always.

It has been 50 years since the dismissal of Gough Whitlam.
