Burnett Heads Rural Fire Brigade Burnett Heads Rural Fire Brigade (BHRFB) is a Volunteer fire service, stationed at Burnett Heads in Queensland. BHRFB are a Community Safety Organisation.

Burnett Heads Rural Fire Brigade (BHRFB) is a Volunteer fire service, stationed at Burnett Heads in Queensland Our meeting is the 1st Thursday of each month at 7pm and training is the second Sunday of each month at 10am. BHRFB are part of Queensland Fire and Emergency Services. BHRFB is run by over 20 community volunteers that respond to emergencies to protect their community. BHRFB run a fleet of 2 Firefighting appliances and a Command unit.

A message from Daniel Schneider. Bundaberg Area Office.

A massive shoutout to our crews working tirelessly to respond to a large bushfire at Doughboy, in the Bundaberg region.

Local RFSQ and QFR crews have been joined by strike teams from the Fraser Coast, Sunshine Coast and South Burnett, undertaking significant backburning operations to protect properties.

Aircraft are also supporting the response, with waterbombing, fire mapping and intelligence-gathering operations helping crews on the ground.
