Kevin Ashelford has been an enthusiastic supporter of our Inland Botanic Gardens for a long time. As a member of the Lions, the Works committee and the Friends committee he has made a wonderful contribution to all aspects of the Gardens. He made well-informed, decisive and pragmatic decisions about many new projects and developments. Kevin liked to get things done. He was, at the same time, a great listener, valuing the ideas of others.
The Board, Staff, Friends and volunteers will miss him greatly.

Did you know that the Australian Inland Botanic Gardens Mildura-Wentworth is Australia's only community owned gardens and from an idea by three CSIRO scientists in 1983, that opened to the public in 1992 through to today, that our Gardens would not be the fabulous regional asset it is without volunteers?

Our volunteers put in around 12,000 hours annually, valued at well over $300,000.

Have some spare time?
