Now, it’s time for the LNP to deliver for all of Queensland. Clearly regional voters hit the Miles Labor government between the eyes.

Successive governments have pandered to the South-Eastern corner of the State for decades, bribing city voters with socialist carrots. For example, the whole idea of almost-free public transport for city-dwellers when the government has failed to provide decent roads for the rest of the State was obscene. The Labor faithful also loved the promise of free lunches from the State for school children, paid by taxpayers. Posed as a ‘cost-of-living’ relief measure, it was just another socialist gimmick to get more people dependent on the State instead of providing an economic environment in which people can provide for themselves.

In Nanango, one of the forgotten regional seats, there can be no more excuses. As, potentially, a senior minister in the incoming government, our local Member can no longer hide behind the curtain of ‘being in Opposition’.

There can now be no more excuses for a white-elephant hospital which cannot even do the most minor medical procedures, and in which doctors reportedly cannot even recognise a cattle tick. Third World stuff.

There can now be no more excuses for the narrow, broken-edged roads which we need to drive over every day competing with dog trailers, buses, and other heavy vehicles. It is time for the incoming government to assert itself and start putting city bureaucrats in their place. Country electorates must start receiving their fair share of the budget cake or voters will oust the LNP once again in four years’ time. Contrary to what a lot of our politicians seem to think, Queensland is not just Noosa to the NSW border.

Nor can there be any more excuses for burdening ratepayers with ‘dam upgrades’ for hypothetical flood events that some city bureaucrat has invented to transfer costs from the State to local ratepayers. Let’s take that cost and put it right back where it belongs – on the State government. It was just another way of penalising regional voters and favouring the seats Labor thought they needed to hold to stay in power. Imagine the backlash if the ratepayers in a city electorate were suddenly asked to pay mega-millions for some project that would do absolutely nothing to improve or upgrade their local water supply! Water for whatever purpose, be it for human consumption or for agriculture or industry, is a State responsibility, and should not be put on the shoulders of local Councils.

And there can now be no more excuses for all the other projects that being in Opposition supposedly prevented our sitting Member from achieving. I’d list them from her own words, but the Member has seemingly blocked me from her page, and demonstrated again a complete lack of transparency and accountability to those who live in her own electorate.

This election has shown that regional voters want a greater say in how we are governed and the local outcome suggests that most Nanango voters seemed to think the only answer was the LNP. Considering how ineffective our Member has been in the twelve-odd years she has been the Member for Nanango, it does not make much sense, but now the LNP has secured government, she and the LNP must deliver and start listening to regional Queenslanders.

Dozens of dams need to be upgraded across Queensland at a cost of more than $3 billion, prompting calls for the next state government to offer financial support.

There seems to be some confusion out there about the legality or constitutionality of local Councils. We need to remember that "local authorities" are, and always have been, under the jurisdiction and control of individual State governments and not the Federal government despite attempts by republic-leaning politicians to bypass States for their own purposes. An interesting listen...

Looking back, it is easy to see just how orchestrated the Great Covid Myth messaging was. Dishonest politicians and public officials, brainwashed employers, and a gullible public combined to cause heartbreak and injury to so many. But will people see with open eyes when it happens again??

The "Two-Party" political system is thoroughly corrupt. It does not represent the views of ordinary Australians outside the bubble of the major cities. It has also robbed us of our House of Review, the Senate. Divided on political Party lines, it is rarely used as a check on the excesses of government. Senators like Gerard Rennick are few and far between.

Renegade LNP Senator Gerard Rennick has suffered a major court loss after launching legal action against his own party when his bid for a senate spot was dashed during an internal party ballot.

The senseless rush to so-called renewables is at what cost? Let's get a fuller picture of the real cost of these technologies before we destroy thousands of hectares of valuable grazing, farming and forestry lands.

Managing Renewable Projects in the South Burnett

South Burnett Regional Council has voiced their position on managing renewable projects into the future. Mayor Duff said that she put this motion to Council to seek support of her fellow Councillors to establish a position on managing the roll out of renewables into the future.

Mayor Duff said “This same motion has been sent around to the Wide Bay Regional Organisation of Councils (WBBROC) to discuss with their Councillors with a view to establishing a collective position to take forward when talking to Government at both State and Federal levels.”

WBBROC is made up of North Burnett, South Burnett, Cherbourg, Fraser Coast and Gympie Councils and is working with Bundaberg Regional Council. The motion asks that a moratorium of all large-scale wind, solar, battery energy storage systems, pumped hydro and related transmission projects be imposed.

People are waking up... the LNP is not listening to the people, nor is it being honest about what it intends to do if they take government in Queensland later this year. A quick read of Hansard, the record of voting in Parliament, confirms that little is likely to change on any of the issues confronting Queenslanders at this election... rising homelessness, out-of-control youth crime, the destruction of valuable farming lands and forestry in the name of "renewable energy", pandering to the divisive and Left-driven "aboriginal industry" with proposed treaties and "truth-telling" even after the resounding defeat of Albanese's "Voice" referendum last year, the imploding health system, the substandard roads throughout rural and regional electorates.... the list grows every week. Is it time to switch support to Independents who are listening to their local community?

As more people become aware of the attempted coup by the Democrat socialists in the November 2020 USA Presidential election, including the rigged voting, the fraudulent ballots, the switching of votes from the incumbent to the wanna-be President in the middle of the night in key Democrat-controlled States, the blatant political censorship of conservative voices by Big Tech barons like Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey, the distorted "news" reporting of the corrupt media, and the staged "riot" last week in Washington (in which key Democrat politicians suddenly found their laptops had been spirited away for forensic evaluation), it is becoming even more evident that the Gates-CCP Covid19 "pandemic" was just another tool to force the world to accept the Great Global Reset intended for 2021 by the Marxist Elite.

Our Voice does not accept the censorship of a handful of Leftist individuals who seek to impose their values or ideals upon the rest of the world. As Australians we find it offensive that self-appointed individuals in another country seek to interfere with our free speech or our right to think for ourselves.

What an absolute disgrace! Labor has been caught out, yet again, trying to cover up corruption within the Palaszczuk Labor government. Whatever happened to democracy in Queensland? Surely every one of us has the right to question the behaviour of this inept and corrupt administration?

Whilst most people would commend the Premier for the way she has handled herself during the COVID-19 pandemic, voters cannot overlook the gross incompetence of Yvette D'Ath, Steven Miles, Jackie Trad, Grace Grace, and other ministers under her leadership. This government needs to be censured unreservedly at the coming State election in October.

Unfortunately, the Opposition LNP still does not appear to have taken any responsibility for its past failings. Nor has it yet put in place effective pre-selection processes to w**d out serial non-performers who have been selfishly warming seats for far too long, or to find fresh candidates with life experience and integrity to stand as candidates in seats presently held by Labor.

Draft laws to stop media publishing corruption allegations ahead of elections have been dumped by the Palaszczuk government following heated backlash.
