I’m one last effort we are looking for a few enthusiastic people to take on the running of our playgroup.
This playgroup has been running for over 40 years and recently hasn’t been up and running due to covid restrictions and other obligations.
It belongs under the umbrella of Playgroup NSW but needs a team to do the weekly running.
This is a volunteer role suitable for those with children under 5 years. We need at least 3-4 people to take it on and have fun! It is worth noting that volunteering hours can be used to claim CCS.

Hi everyone,

We will be meeting for a play at Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens playground tomorrow morning at 10am.
Pls feel free to come along 🤗

Our all abilities playground is now open for the enjoyment of Highlands residents and visitors to the district. Funded by a state government grant under the NSW Government My Community Project the playground opened in mid June, 2020.

If you are a Playgroup NSW member you can download the small ideas app and receive great discounts on play centres, zoos, aquariums, theme parks and so many other places to take the kids.
I have included the email from Playgroup NSW with the instructions.

Hi everyone,

We’re getting lots of enquires whether playgroup is back on. Isolation tantrums are real! We hear you!

We are currently in the process of getting our venue Covid safe and are hoping to open our playgroup again by Term 4 mid October 2020. In the meantime we are looking for volunteers to help us run the group (open/close,set up, preparation of morning tea, planning activities). Get in touch! We need all hands and friendly faces that we can get 🤗

Hi all,
NSW playgroup have now suspended all playgroup sessions till the 9th April due to the corona virus.
So all going well we will return on Tuesday the 14th April.
Hope everyone stays healthy and we look forward to seeing you all again in a months time.

What a fun Tuesday morning! Kids had a great time picking flowers, digging in the sandpit, and getting messy with glitter paint. Join the fun next Tuesday 9.30am - 11.30am! 🌼

So much fun was had by all today.
We played with the musical instruments, train sets and the cars and we also had lots of outside play especially in the sandpit.
For craft today we did some water painting and then we played with the playdough and used our imaginations and made butterflies, snakes and snails.

It’s great to see friendships forming in both the children and adults.
New families are always welcome to come along to our playgroup on Tuesday mornings. 🌈🌞
