Next up on Fridays @ Ford - Strings After Dark on Friday 25 September, when Burwood’s own Sydney Concert Orchestra and the Miriam Lieberman Trio put a fresh spin on string music - from reimagined favourites to contemporary and world sounds. 🎻

Meet the SES at Mobile Playvan! 🚒🚨

Mobile Playvan is getting a special visit from the NSW SES Burwood Unit this Wednesday, 26 August!

Come along to Henley Park, Enfield, where families can get up close to an SES vehicle, learn more about what SES volunteers do and explore the important role they play in keeping our community safe.

There’ll also be fun activities, giveaways for the kids and information for parents. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

National Science Week at Burwood Library was a blast! 🌱

Our library got hands-on with the fascinating world of carnivorous plants, learning all about Venus flytraps and getting creative designing unique planters for our new plant friends.

The best part? Kids will soon be able to pick up their very own planter and fly-chomping Venus flytrap to take home! 🪴🪰

From a brand-new footpath in Violet Street and a new stormwater grate, to a fresh concrete path and turf at Jackson Reserve, our crews have been busy across the LGA.
