National Simultaneous Storytime is happening right now! Mr K is reading "Luna Roo" to all our captivated students. We are so lucky to have so many wonderful events at Geographe Primary School. Yesterday was Biodervisty Day. Thanks to all the students who dressed in the colours of green, yellow, blue and/ or brown. All money raised is going to Geo Bay Wildlife Rescue. And don't forget next Tuesday is the school Reconciliation Walk, parents and caregivers will find more details through Class Compass communications.

Today is P&C Day, an official event recognising the countless volunteer hours and massive contributions Parents and Citizens Associations make to schools across Western Australia. At Geographe Primary School we are so lucky to have one of the most active and dedicated P&C's. Yesterday was the 2026 Staff vs Students Basketball game and what a game it was. The students did a fantastic job with a very disadvantaged height comp. Unfortunately, none of the paparazzi managed to get Mr Humble's three pointer from the middle of the court or his slam dunk, but it really did happen!!

Last Thursday this amazing group of scientists and engineers represented Geographe Primary at the "2026 Science and Engineering Challenge Day"at Leschenault Leisure Centre. Eight schools from around the State participated and we were very excited to place second in the competition. Results such as this show evidence of the school's focus on STEM with the inclusion of a high quality junior and senior science program, as well as the priority of all teachers to teach the skills of the future such as critical thinking, creativity, problem solving teamwork and communication.

Thanks to everyone who came out last Friday for our ANZAC service. The year 4 choir did a beautiful job and the visit from the ex-service horses made it especially special for our students. Thank you also to our school leaders who represented our school at the Busselton ANZAC service on Saturday.
