Buxton Play Group is run by a number of local mothers who identified a need for their little preschoolers to meet and play with each other. Buxton Play Group is totally free to join (yep no fees or paperwork - we are far too relaxed for that kind of shenanigans). This group is open to all local parents, carers and their preschoolers (in school holidays older siblings are most welcome to join in th

e fun too). Play group is weekly on Wednesdays at 9.30am (finishing up around 11am to 11.30am). Details of upcoming play groups are advertised through this page (see the events). If you would love to get involved in a fun, friendly and inclusive play group for your little one, then this is the group for you. Everyone is most welcome (we are a very warm, friendly and inclusive bunch). You don't have to be from Buxton to come along. More information please contact Nicole 0433 859 558

It was a windy winter's morning today at Buxton Play Group but that didn't stop the play.

We ran, rode, built a cubby, waved to the garbage men in their new trucks and snuggled in for some stories.

It was so amazing to see the sun today and get out to play with friends. Wollondilly Shire - Dilly Wanderer set up some fantastic craft and toys and we got a special visit from the garbage man.

Today Buxton Play Group was fire 🔥. But lucky for us we spent the morning at Buxton Rural Fire Brigade where we learnt some very important skills in case of a fire, like how to get down low and go go go.

We also got to look at and hold some of the equipment our amazing fire fighters use when out fighting fires and of course we got to climb in the fire trucks 🚒 with the lights and sirens 🚨.

Thank you so much to our brave volunteer fire fighters for working hard to keep our community safe and thank you for opening the doors to your station and trucks to our smallest community members, we appreciate all that you do.

Such a fun energetic morning spent at Buxton Play Group.
We had a selection of textures in our sensory tray today, lots of toys and Some scary tunnel monsters causing havoc.

Thank you all for coming, don't forget next week in our fire shed visit so we will be meeting across from the fire brigade at 9:30.
