Holidays are approaching come on in with your family and see our Gorgeous Koalas plus why not take a walk with our dingo pups but there is loads more to see. Make sure you Bring a picnic lunch and sunscreen plus our mini train runs on weekends school holidays and public holidays. For large bookings or events please call the park so we can arrange your event. Our super volunteers and staff will be more then happy to walk you around and educate you on all our animals. Our Website is still down unfortunately so please call the park directly 9 till 5pm or 0421 869 411.

This coming public holiday, WA Day please come and celebrate with our beautiful Australian wildlife plus so much more! Monday the 3rd of June why not pack a picnic lunch and bring the whole family along to Cohunu koala Park where you can hand feed kangaroos, wallabies, Emus, peacocks, goat's deer, lamas, alpacas ducks and geese or why not pat and brush the ponies, Have a chat with our very cheeky talking parrots or have a complete koala experience we allow you to hold feed and take photos with our critically endangered koala in turn helps us to continue to breed did you know we are registered with the Australian koala foundation where shortly you may adopt your own koala 🐨.
But you can top this day off with a fun miniature train ride around the whole park where you can witness our awesome free roaming animals and take in the natural Australian bushland and flora the park is surrounded by I couldn't think of a better way to spend WA day. Just check out some amazing photos we have of our park. Hope to see you Monday and I know our animals just love the attention!! in the cooler months they certainly put on a show. Who doesn't love splashing in puddles.

With this yucky cold weather I'm thinking I'm a 1 lol 🥶😴 what about you all? But rain hail or shine Cohunu is still open 10am till 4pm. Our animals are very active in the cooler months so please come and check them out as they frolick in the rain and play in muddy puddles. Plus not to mention the park comes alive and green after a hard hot summer. Don't forget your umbrella a picnic and a hot flask of tea or coffee.

Happy mother's day to all our mummas with joey's here at Cohunu Koala Park
Did you know?
Once conceived, it is only 35 days before the birth of the baby Koala, called a “joey”. The newborn is tiny (at roughly 2 centimetres long and less than 1 gram in weight), and looks like a pink jellybean; totally hairless, blind, with no ears.
The young Koala only drinks its mother’s milk for the first six to seven months and remains in the pouch for that time, slowly growing and developing eyes, ears and fur. At about 22 weeks, its eyes open and it begins to peep out of the pouch.

You all must come and see our joey's in the next few months and help us name them. We have a few on the way ❤️🐨💙

Mani is loving his time to stretch and nibble on grass to produce his gut flora to be slowly weaned as he grows plus getting his daily dose of vitamin D he's getting very adventurous and Christine's work is definitely cut out for her. He's putting on weight every day and loves his water and scratches. What a little trooper he is 🙂🦘💗 here at Cohunu Koala Park our animals are number 1 priority.
