⭐️ 12 years experience as a Support Worker
⭐️ Qualified Enrolled Nurse
⭐️ 6 years experience operating a Disability Support Service with 80+ staff
✨ During this time I managed numerous teams and engaged with many stakeholders.
✨ I have a passion for high needs and behaviour support with experience in implementing BSP’s & RP’s

We are seeking 1-2 support workers to provide support to a lovely man in Aspley (42m) who requires community access and social support. This person had worked a government job for 15 years, his goals are to rebuild his life by finding his community and social group.

Currently seeking support for:
Wednesday 4pm-9am (sleepover 10pm-6am)
Friday 4pm-10pm
Sunday 4pm-10pm

Additional shifts may be required as needed.

As Support Workers we often play many roles, cleaner, cook, social support... & sometimes hairdresser! As a wheelchair user, it is hard to access hairdressing services such as a wash & blow dry. A hairbrush in one back pocket, a comb in the other and clips on my shirt, I was honoured to have the chance to give my best effort in uplifting this amazing woman's spirits. Fresh hair for a fresh year! ❤️

PODS Group Fishing for young men 9 - 14 years begun today. What an amazing day had by all! Having fun whilst exploring the community, increasing social skills & independence.

We are looking forward to heading out every Monday & Thursday 8am-1pm (plus transport if required) over the school holidays.

All equipment is provided; accessible toilets are always nearby & all locations are accessible by wheelchair. Just bring your lunch & water!
