On day #1 of the new Kuranda to Barron Falls loop, we had the pleasure of hosting the team from I Love Cairns to experience our modified experience first-hand.

As we continue our extensive upgrade works behind the scenes, this unique loop offers you a brand-new way to connect with the World Heritage rainforest and Barron Falls up close. The early feedback from the I Love Cairns crew highlights the ease of the rainforest boardwalks, the serenity of the surroundings, the exciting facts of the forest and the spectacular panoramic views at The Edge Lookout.

We are open! We are so thrilled to reopen today and welcome you all back to the ancient rainforest. 🌳

From now until late October, we're offering the Kuranda to Barron Falls Loop, we have shuttle buses running throughout the day to and from Kuranda, Canopy Cafe is open at our Smithfield Terminal, and our visitors are already enjoying what's on offer at Barron Falls / Dindin. Our first week is looking very busy already so we strongly recommend to book in as far in advance as possible. Please remember we are now closed Monday and Tuesday, opening from Wednesday to Sunday.

We're excited to reopen this Wednesday 19th August, offering our Kuranda to Barron Falls Loop Experience. PLEASE NOTE 🚨 We are super busy on Wednesday, 😲 in fact almost fully booked! We strongly recommend advance bookings for travel Thursday through to Sunday. (We are now closed every Monday & Tuesday until late October.)

Just one more week until we reopen and we’re excited to be reopening with a new and unique experience offering! The Kuranda to Barron Falls Loop Experience will be available between August 19th to October 25th.

We're opening 5 days per week, from Wednesday to Sunday (closed on Monday's and Tuesday's), with boarding between 10:00am and 3:30pm. Please allow approximately 1 hour, including time spent at Barron Falls, where you will be able to enjoy the following during your Skyrail experience:
