What a fantastic morning celebrating National Simultaneous Storytime with First 5 Forever at the library! ⚽📚

Together we read 'Luna Roo' by Adam Wallace and Adrian Beck - a wonderful story reminding us that when someone doubts you, or you feel like you don’t belong, you can always find your inner strength and prove them wrong. 💛

After storytime, the amazing team from Football Queensland helped us kick off the fun by teaching everyone some soccer skills, teamwork, and confidence on the field!

A huge thank you to all the families who joined us for such a fun and energetic session - we loved seeing so many smiling faces getting involved.

And of course, a big thank you to Football Queensland for helping make the day extra special!

What a fantastic time we had on Sunday at the Children’s Festival! 🐾📚 A huge thank you to all the families who came along and joined us on the hunt for the Gruffalo - it was amazing to see so many little adventurers out exploring.

Even the rain and a bit of mud didn’t stop the fun (if anything, it made the adventure even better!). It is always amazing that in the midst of all the rain, mud, activity and excitement, there are still these beautiful pockets of calm, imagination, and softness. It’s such a lovely reminder of how powerful shared storytelling can be and how strongly connections to libraries and reading are embraced within festivals like this.

📣 Stratford Library Update 🚧

Our air-con is getting an upgrade on Monday 25 & Tuesday 26 May. The library will remain open but may be a bit warm while the work’s underway.

Parking will also be limited at times due to contractor access.
