We’re bringing the community together for our annual FREE family event in Calliope and we can’t wait to celebrate with you 💙

Join us for a morning packed with free family-friendly fun, including a petting zoo, kids’ activities, entertainment, sausage sizzle and plenty of opportunities to connect with other families in our wonderful Gladstone Region 🐴🐷🐔🎪

💛 This year is extra special, as our event is being held during Queensland Child Protection Week. It’s a great opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate the strong, safe and supportive communities we want for every child and family.

A huge THANK YOU to Reef City Motors for supporting this year’s event and helping us make this celebration possible 🙌

We’d also like to give a special thank you to the Gladstone Regional Council Neighbourhood Centre for their support and contribution to our community day 💙

So gather the family, tag and invite your friends and come along for a morning of FREE fun, connection and community.

❤️ Keeping Our Kindy Community Safe ❤️

We are so excited to have our very own AED (defibrillator) installed at Calliope Kindergarten! 🫶

A huge thank you to the Gambling Community Benefit Fund – Round 126 for providing us with $8,990 to purchase much-needed equipment for our kindy. 🙏

We would also like to sincerely thank Staying Alive Health for supplying and professionally fitting our new defibrillator and helping us make our kindy a safer place for our children, families and community. ❤️

It’s wonderful to know that this potentially lifesaving equipment is now readily available should it ever be needed. 💙

One year on…..

As the 2026 Calliope Campdraft wraps up we remember that the 2025 Calliope Campdraft Association made an incredibly generous donation of $5000 to the kindy. The committee, educators and children at Calliope Kindy would like to once again extend our sincere thanks to the Calliope Campdraft Association.

This amazing contribution went purchasing new resources that will enrich our learning environments and provide even more opportunities for our children to learn, explore, create and grow through play.

We are so grateful for the ongoing support of local community organisations like the Calliope Campdraft Association. Your generosity is making a real difference to the experiences of the children and families at our kindy, and we truly appreciate your investment in our community’s youngest learners.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Calliope River Men’s Shed! 💜🌟🌈

The children, families, and educators at Calliope Kindergarten would like to extend a huge thank you to the wonderful members of Calliope Men’s Shed for your incredible generosity.

We are so grateful for the beautiful picnic table and the 10 handcrafted hobby horses you have made for our kindy. Your time, skill, and kindness have created resources that will bring endless hours of imaginative play, outdoor learning, and laughter for our children.

Community partnerships like this make such a positive difference, and we’re so lucky to have such caring local organisations supporting our little learners.

Thank you for helping create special memories that our children will treasure for years to come. 💜
