After 13 fabulous years, Ashley and I made the bittersweet decision to sell our beloved Post Office. We do so with full hearts — heavy with the goodbye, but light with excitement for the freedom and new adventures that lie ahead.
When our (not so) little family (in utero and all) first arrived here all those years ago, we were welcomed (mostly 😝) with such warmth and kindness. This community quickly became home and so our kids have enjoyed the privilege and safety of small town living.
So many of you became more than customers — you became friends, neighbours, and part of our day to day. My relationship with so many extends beyond the width of that beautiful old timber counter. I’ve shared in the highest of your highs and ached at the heart wrenching lows of what is life - and it is that thread that will forever bind us.
We’ve been privileged to share in the life of this town — to watch it grow, to see new families arrive, and to watch children who weren’t even born when we moved here, now walk in and chat with us like the old mates that we are 🥰
To everyone who has supported us, laughed with us, enjoyed the banter and shown us love over the years — thank you. To the rest of you who didn’t enjoy that Po experience - suffer no more 🤭
Though we’re stepping away from the counter, we won’t be far. Here’s to sleeping in, a much needed family holiday and one hell of a shindig in a couple of weeks …
