Cameron Park Rural Fire Brigade Cameron Park Rural Fire Brigade Cameron Park Rural Fire Brigade is located at the Northern end of Lake Macquarie NSW. Box 103, West Wallsend NSW 2286.

We provide fire cover to those in Cameron Park (and surrounding area's, where required), Newcastle Link Road, George Booth Drive, M1 Pacific Motorway and the M15 Hunter Expressway. We attend a variety of incidents including (but not limited to): Bush/Grass Fires, Motor Vehicle Fires, Structural Fires, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Oil/Liquid spills and any other incident where we can assist. We also wo

rk alongside Fire & Rescue NSW, NSW Police Force, Ambulance Service NSW, NSW State Emergency Service and Volunteer Rescue Association. We regularly participate in Hazard Reduction Burns, Community Events and Public Education Programs. We are located in a four bay fire station which houses a variety of fire fighting appliances, which include:

Category 1 Heavy Tanker
Category 10 Pumper
Caategory 7 Light Tanker
Category 13 Bulk Water Tanker

This Thursday, December 18th, the brigade will be taking Santa for the second of two visits to local popular parks:

He will be arriving at park on Watalong Way in Brush Creek Estate at 6pm to visit and chat while his fire fighter elves hand out some lollies and items to he children.

He will then visit Layton Pond on Estelville Circuit for 6.45pm to see more of the local children. This on the far side of the ponds from Harrigans.

And then he will meet the new neighbours in Cameron Grove Estate at 7.30pm

Santa and the elves will be arriving in fire trucks which everyone is welcome to have a look at. The truck will also be carrying a mailbox for any last minute letters to Santa's workshop. And photos with Santa are more than welcome.

We hope to see as many of you as we can, please invite your friends to join in as well.

This Wednesday, December 17th, the brigade will be taking Santa for the first of two visits to Cameron Parks popular parks:
He will be arriving at Beaumarias Park on Beaumarias Close at 6pm to visit and chat while his fire fighter elves hand out some lollies and items to he children.
He will then visit Northlakes Estate Park for 7pm to see more of the local children.
Santa and the elves will be arriving in fire trucks which everyone is welcome to have a look at. The truck will also be carrying a mailbox for any last minute letters to Santa's workshop. And photos with Santa are more than welcome.

It is with sadness we report that a fire fighter has been killed overnight while on scene at the Bulahdelah Fire on the Mid North Coast.
The NSW Parks and Wildlife firefighter was reported to have been hit and killed by a fallen tree.
Our sincere condolences to the family, friends, colleagues and loved ones.

The Lake Macquarie local government area, along with Cessnock, Dungog, Maitland Muswellbrook, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Singleton and Upper Hunter area have been listed as being at an Extreme Fire Danger Risk.

A Total Fire will commence at midnight and remain in place for the entirety of Wednesday.
