Lowdina Orchard Selling premium quality Tasmanian Cherries and Moorpark Apricots. Open seasonally late Dec to end of Jan, sometimes into February depending on yield

Lowdina Orchard is situated in the beautiful Coal River Valley and is on the Colebrook Road. The orchard is run by Ian and Denise Newnham and their son Jake and every picking season the farm turns into a multicultural backpacker camp with pickers welcomed from all nationalities. Pickers are required to hold a valid working visa, Australian Tax File Number and bank account. Our orchard shop is open

every day from 8am-6pm during the picking season selling premium cherries and apricots as well as real fruit ice cream made on site.

The Hunter apricots are nearly all sold. We will close the farmshop for the season at 6pm on Friday, 6 Feb. Lovely cherries still for sale all day and some jam cherries also available. Thanks for your support

Farmshop will be closing soon. Today we have some Hunter apricots for sale. Hunter are very similar to Moorpark and just as delicious

Moorpark Apricots sold out for the weekend. There may be a small restock in the middle of next week but basically our apricot season is complete. It’s been a difficult one and we thank you for your patience and understanding (most of the time !)

So sorry. I have just had a message from the farmshop that the MOORPARKS are sold out for today. We have another packing run scheduled for later today so there will be a limited supply available for sale on Saturday.

Moorpark apricots are nearly finished. The very hot weather has unfortunately cut the season short. Have a supply that may last through this weekend but can’t say for sure. Thanks for your patience. It has been a very strange ripening season

UPDATE: We are sold out of apricots for a few days Still selling lovely lapin cherries.
Super hot days mean no picking of apricots as they will bruise. We have a small supply in the farmshop today but expect there will be a couple of days where we are out of stock.l
