It outlines proposed parking changes aimed at improving access to existing parking in Port Campbell and enhancing traffic and pedestrian safety.

We’re inviting community members to review the draft and provide feedback at https://www.corangamite.vic.gov.au/pc-parking

Make a splash in your community by joining your local swimming pool committee.

Corangamite Shire's Swimming Pool Committees of Management are having their Annual General Meetings, giving community members an opportunity to get involved.

Committees help support local pools through programming ideas and minor capital improvements, helping ensure these valued community facilities continue to thrive. The commitment is modest, with committees meeting on average just three times a year.

If you'd like to have a say in the future of your local pool, come along to your local AGM and consider nominating for the coming year.

For further information, contact Jane Hinds on 5593 7100.

COMMUNITY NOTICE – BlazeAid Bradvale/Skipton Basecamp.

BlazeAid volunteers have been working hard across the district to assist landholders with fencing recovery, and they are pleased to report that the majority of currently registered jobs have now been completed.

To ensure they can continue providing support where it is needed most, BlazeAid encourages any farmers who require assistance with fence clearing, repairs, or rebuilding to contact the Bradvale/Skipton BlazeAid Basecamp as soon as possible and register their work.

Like many volunteer-based organisations, BlazeAid can only keep a basecamp operating while there is sufficient work available for volunteers. With the current workload almost exhausted, it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep volunteers engaged if there are no registered projects ready to commence.

If you have fencing work that you would like BlazeAid to assist with, whether now or in the near future, please get in touch promptly so they can assess the work and schedule volunteer crews accordingly.

Thank you to everyone who has supported BlazeAid and the volunteers throughout the recovery effort.

To register for fencing work or make an enquiry, please contact the Bradvale/Skipton BlazeAid Basecamp Coordinator, Jen, on 0427 584 818 as soon as possible.
