Australia's refugee program can be traced back more than 170 years. This year marks the 40th anniversary of Refugee Week here, celebrated under the theme, "A Million Stories".
To recognise and celebrate the valuable contributions refugees have made to Australian society, Metro Assist is leading a Refugee Week event in collaboration with several local service providers, including the Canterbury-Bankstown Multicultural Interagency, City of Canterbury Bankstown, and Refugee Week.
We warmly invite you to join us for this free community event featuring vibrant storytelling, cultural performances, an an art workshop.
Bring your friends and family along as we come together to celebrate the stories, cultures, and contributions that enrich our community.
