تشرف السيد القائم بالأعمال بالإنابة اليوم بالمشاركة في اللقاء الذي نظمته الجالية السودانية في ولاية تسمانيا، بحضور عدد من أصدقاء الجالية من مختلف الجاليات الإفريقية، إلى جانب ممثلة وزارة التعددية الثقافية بالولاية.
وقد شكّل اللقاء فرصة طيبة للتعريف بالخدمات التي تقدمها السفارة لأبناء الجالية السودانية، كما تناول النقاش سبل الدعم وإسناد أهلنا المتضررين في السودان، إضافة إلى الاهتمام بالجيل الثاني من أبناء الجالية السودانية وتعزيز ارتباطهم بالهوية والثقافة السودانية.

بمناسبة عيد الأم، نتقدم بأسمى آيات التهاني والتقدير إلى الأم السودانية في بلدنا الحبيب السودان، استراليا، نيوزيلندا وفي المهجر، تلك المرأة العظيمة التي ظلت رمزاً للصبر والقوة والعطاء في كل الظروف.
تحية إجلال لكل أم سودانية حملت همّ الأسرة والوطن، وساهمت بتضحياتها وصبرها في تربية النشء وغرس القيم والأخلاق في الأجيال، فكانت المدرسة الأولى وصانعة المستقبل، رغم ما واجهته من تحديات ومعاناة.
لقد أثبتت الأم السودانية عبر التاريخ دورها الوطني والإنساني الكبير، فكانت سنداً لأسرتها، وداعمةً لأبنائها، وحافظةً للهوية والثقافة السودانية داخل الوطن وخارجه.
كل عام والأم السودانية بالف خير،
وكل التقدير والعرفان لتضحياتها ودورها العظيم في بناء المجتمع والأجيال.

The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Mr. Ahmed Abdelatif, had the honour of meeting with the Speaker of the Australian House of Representatives, the Hon. Milton Dick, at Parliament House.

The meeting provided an opportunity to brief on the latest developments in Sudan and to highlight the Government of Sudan’s initiative to achieve comprehensive peace. Mr. Abdelatif also expressed his appreciation to the Australian Parliament and Government for their continued humanitarian support to the Sudanese people.

He further reaffirmed Sudan’s commitment to working closely with Australia to promote peace, security, and the effective delivery of humanitarian assistance.

بمناسبة حلول شهر رمضان المبارك، تتقدم سفارة السودان لدي استراليا بأصدق آيات التهاني والتبريكات إلى كافة أبناء الجالية السودانية في استراليا ونيوزيلندا.

نسأل المولى عز وجل أن يبلغنا وإياكم الخير والبركة والرحمة في هذا الشهر الفضيل، وأن يجمعنا على المحبة والتآخي.

كما نسأله سبحانه أن ينعم على بلادنا السودان بالنصر والعزة والسلام، وأن يحفظ أهلنا ووطننا من كل سوء. اللهم احفظ السودان وأهله أينما وجدوا.

HE Ahmed Abdelatif, Acting Chargé d’Affaires, was honored today to meet with His Eminence Bishop Sarabamon, Metropolitan of Atbarah, Omdurman and Northern Sudan. The meeting was held in the presence of His Grace Bishop Daniel.
An additional meeting was convened with the Executive Office of the Sudanese Coptic Community in Sydney. The discussions were marked by a strong sense of patriotism and solidarity, with heartfelt prayers offered for the safety, stability, and prosperity of Sudan, as well as prayers for the victory and protection of the Sudanese National Army.
Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of engaging the Sudanese diaspora in Australia and leveraging its professional expertise and capabilities to contribute to future reconstruction and sustainable development efforts within the framework of national recovery and rebuilding initiatives.

It’s truly an honor to attend the launch of the RMIT Business & Law Centre for African Engagement (CAE), a transformative initiative by RMIT’s College of Business and Law. The CAE is dedicated to fostering impactful partnerships between RMIT, African communities in Victoria, and institutions across Africa, including governments, universities, and industries.
At the inaugural event, six PhD scholarships were announced, with further details to follow soon. Deep gratitude to Professor Colin Picker, Vice President of RMIT University, and his team.
