We’re excited to reveal the final keynote speakers rounding out the Summit 2026 lineup.
🎙️ Professor Yalmay Yunupingu, Indigenous Knowledge Institute, University of Melbourne Hon, a respected Yolŋu leader and ‘bilingual warrior’ from Northeast Arnhem Land, dedicated over four decades to bilingual education at Yirrkala, championing language, identity and culture. She continues to guide her community and nation, advocating for strong Indigenous languages and leadership for future generations.
🎙️ Nanaia Mahuta, Chair, New Zealand Centre for Global Studies is a māmā, mentor and trailblazing leader whose 27 year career has focused on strengthening Māori development and advancing Indigenous diplomacy. Grounded in Indigenous values, she works with communities to support Māori and Pacific leadership.
🎙️ Annalee Little, Acting Chief Executive Officer of First Languages Australia, is a Wakka Wakka woman who has been a driving force in revitalising Aboriginal languages since 2013. She has led key national initiatives and mentored the next generation of language workers. Her work focuses on strengthening language skills, empowering communities and fostering future Indigenous leadership.
