Inland rail would have been a game-changer for farmers along and near the route.

Labor's decision to cut the inland rail north of Parkes has been described as mind-numbingly stupid by our primary producers. Maybe its time the government actually invests in the people who feed our country, instead of ripping funding out of regional communities to protect inner-city blowouts.
