2026年9月5日，達賴喇嘛尊者在達蘭薩拉行宮接見「民主中國與未來圖伯特論壇」（Democratic China and Future of Tibet Forum）與會代表。

該論壇於8月31日至9月2日在達蘭薩拉舉行，為期三天，由藏人行政中央駐北美代表處與圖伯特政策研究中心（Tibet Policy Institute）共同主辦。論壇邀集來自美國、歐洲及澳洲的華人學者、民主運動人士、人權倡議者、媒體人士，以及來自台灣的學者及相關人士，同時也有達蘭薩拉圖伯特政策研究中心的學者和研究人員參與。

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

I am saddened to learn of the devastating floods in the Rasuwa region of Nepal and Kyirong in Tibet, resulting in loss of life and heavy structural damage. I pray for all those who have lost their lives, and offer my sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved and to all those affected by this tragedy.

Since this region has seen calamities in the past as well, these are certainly symptoms of a deeper underlying cause — whether climate change or other factors. I hope that appropriate follow-up measures will be taken, wherever possible, to help ensure that such disasters do not recur.
